Background
The overlander is pub on the eatern edge of town. The restaurant part has a pretty good rep but the pub itself is thought to be a bit rough but definately not the worst in town. It's pretty popular for lunches but of course we went for dinner.
BTW. Im posting this 4 weeks after we went so I don't remember everything!
The meal
I ordered the Reef and Beef (might have been called surf and turf ... can't remember) . I always get my steak med-rare and I chose to have veges with it. The meal came out in a reasonable time and the atmosphere was fine. I didn't really like the cream sauce that came with the seafood part of the meal. It just tasted a bit bland. The steak was fine but nothing special. The veges that came with it were very average. Overall I didn't really think much of it.
