Townies Leagues Cub

Not very impressed!

I order steak and veggies. Now this should be a piece of piss for any chef worth his salt. How hard it it to cook a steak? I chose the rump and as usual I ordered it medium rare. This thin piece of cardboard came out with burnt bits on it and was well and truly cooked all the way through. The veggies were ok. They had a hot box thing (probably on every Sunday night) and the veggies came from it. It was roast potato, pumpkin beans and the like. Townies itself is not a bad place to go. The atmosphere quiet relaxed and the staff there are friendly. Unfortunately based on the meal that I had i would not recommend it to anyone. I gave it 3/10 only because it was only the second place we went to and (God forbid) there may be somewhere worse that needs to be given a lesser score.
